SCOA AGM Thursday 16th June 2011
The region's AGM is being held at the Society of Friends Meeting House, 1 Highfield Avenue, Newbury, RG14 5DS at 7.30pm.
More information on the AGM below.
The AGM besides the normal business the meeting will be discussing the very important issue of the BO Governance Review. Some of the proposals seem to indicate a sideways move for the regions (and consequently the clubs) into a advisory capacity only to the BO Board. The BO Board intention will be the running and controlling the make up of all the national committees and groups using the BO Recruitment and Selection Policy as a criteria for the suitability of people to fill these posts, using the application, interview, job description and appraisal approach, with the incumbents given the opportunity to serve oin these roles for up to 9 years. So if you want to put forward your views and influence the meeting and your current national representatives, then come to the meeting.
