The Club AGM will take place at 7pm on Friday 13 March 2026, at Valley Park Community Centre, Pilgrims Close, Valley Park, Chandlers Ford, SO53 4ST.  More details nearer the time.

Last Sunday saw the annual SOC Club Champs at Frith and Windmill Hills. Results took a little longer than planned to publish after some issues with incorrect programming of the start control. Luckily, they were able to retrieve everyone's start times and carefully construct a full set of results.

It was a great run around in much better weather than we've seen this weekend, and an enjoyable social afterwards in a local pub (many thanks to Ian Moran for organising!). Sadly, there are quite a few categories where prizes couldn't be awarded because there were no SOC people on the course. Something to work on for next year!

Lisa James recently attended the Orienteering Foundation training day at Merthyr Mawr. You can find her report attached. There will be a similar session in the Forest of Dean in late November 2026, followed by a night event, and an event the following day.
