The weather was much kinder than forecast. After a short, sharp thunderstorm as the courses were being put out, we had a lovely day at the top of the hill at Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
As always with these events they coudn't happen without volunteers to help the organiser and planner. Thanks to the (damp) forest team of Robin Smith, Kieran Devine and Richard Lemon, to Jenny Dickin, Chris Williamson and Matthew Ellis for running the computing, to Kevin Bracher for coaching, safety and control collecting and to everyone else who helped.
The turnout was reasonable considering the poor weather forecast and the clashing events to both east and west.
I hope you enjoyed the day
