SOC Summer Series Event 1				
				
Stoke Park Woods - 17th April 2010	

Thanks to everyone for coming along on a glorious Spring morning. Apparently, SOC hasn't held an event at Stoke Park Woods for over 15 years (well before my time with the club)  and despite recent thinning work and resultant brashings, I think the area will provide a welcome addition to those we have available. 
As ever a huge 'thank you' to all those who helped out on the day. It was really pleasant to be able to sit back a bit during the event while the 'team' kept things running smoothly. It was also very pleasing to have more offers of help than I needed on the day, I'm sure Kevin would like to be in the same position for the next Summer Series event on Saturday (24th April) at Southampton Common – drop him an email.
Thanks for all you feedback regarding the map, the courses and the area, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and I hope to see you at some or all of the upcoming Summer Series.
