Final results below, including a credit for control 217 for competitors that reported that they had visited it but couldn't reach it.  Results include bonuses for visiting all controls under the hour, and any applicable penalty for being over the hour.

Planners comments

A good turnout in high winds and some rain.

An apology to start with as Portsmouth City Council saw fit to lock up one of the small parks for the night making 217 a little difficult to access! We think we now know all that visited the vicinity of 217 but couldn't get to punch it. So please regard the results as provisional until we know for sure. Please contact on entries [at] socweb.org (entries[at]socweb[dot]org) if you haven't been credited 217 when you had been there and unable to get over the gate to go and punch the control.

Otherwise the event went well and thanks for the positive comments..

Thanks to Mark and Steve on the computing, Vicky with the registration. Thanks also to Kevin and Jenny helping me get all the controls out there, and to Andy and David who helped Kevin and myself to get the controls back in.

People were complimentary about the pub venue which was great as I had to convince the landlord to get the chef in as the pub doesn't usually do food on Thursdays.
