Joining the Club
If you would like to know more or are interested in joining us please contact our Membership Secretary via the Contact Form or contact any member of the committee.
Further information about the different memberships offered can be found here.
Events
SOC host one major annual regional event (November Classic) plus several District events, Saturday informal events (including the annual Southampton Summer Series) plus various social events. For forthcoming events, see the Events page.
Area
We are fortunate in having most of the New Forest within our boundary. Here we find some of the best orienteering terrain in the South of England. The forest is always used for our main event of the year, the 'November Classic', when around 1000 competitors take part. SOC has also mapped many areas in the county including Farley Mount and Queen Elizabeth Country Park which are used for smaller events.
Management
SOC is organised by a Committee which is elected by the club at an annual AGM. See committee for more details.
Data Privacy Policy
In common with many other clubs, SOC has a data privacy policy for any data we may collect.
