Thanks to all (48 of you) for coming and making it a successful day. Jane and I had some very nice comments on the exercises and their variety. We also attracted orienteers from WIM, WSX, BADO and SARUM. The other very good news is that Jane's compass and pacing exercises, and her on the day coaching, received the seal of approval from Frances Alexander (NGOC), which means Jane has passed her practical assessment, and is well on the way to gaining her level 2 coaching certificate. Well done!

Also I would like to thank Roger Morgan and Peter Robson for helping in setting up, to the Dicken family who helped in getting the tent down and tidying things up, and to Kevin Bracher in getting in some of the controls. A special thanks to Jamie Hicks, who apart from not complaining about being there all day! helped with putting the signs out, getting the tent up and down, running the line/corridor/window course early on to check the controls, have enough energy to run all the other exercises, then help me to get in all the control picking controls - and not get bored when we went to the pub afterwards! We look forward to organising and planning a next time.
