With the weather turning out better than the forecasters predicted most runners experienced a dry run. It was just a shame that the forecast put off a significant number of entries, and our entries were down by roughly a third but listening to comments of those who did run, our planner Terry Smith, gave everyone excellent fast courses. We had a great team of helpers and I am most grateful for all their assistance. No misshaps and the last runner was back by 1.45 enabling us to be all wrapped up and away by 3 o’clock. Unfortunately Ultrasport who were advertised as being present could not attend as they were stuck in bad weather in Scotland.
