HI

The new splits results format for Emit is very pretty, with the introduction of colour, however it gives little information. Emit results have always been very useful to the orienteer who wishes to know  where he has made good route choices, or not. Showing a competitors positiion on each leg and the position at each stage in the race gives that information without requiring masses of calcuation. The results of the Urban Event on Saturday are useful, but inj my opinion the November Classic splits results are of little use. Unless I am missing something, which is always possible.

Thanks for your feedback.

EMIT-UK will be publishing full results including their comprehensive splits report. Unfortunately that hasn't happened in full yet as they are dealing with a glitch in the event records that is preventing the splits processing to take place. When they do we will be including those results on the club website here and on the event website at www.novemberclassic.org.

The service provided by www.race-results.info is better suited to publishing simple results quickly and providing methods to share results on social media. Orienteering events form only a small part of their portfolio but your comments have been passed to them for potential future development.
