Following safe removal of the WWII ordnance on the seafront by the authorities, cordons have been removed and the event will now go ahead as planned.

There is on road parking opposite the pub in Clarence Parade, which is free after 6pm.
Food is available in the pub.
The map area covers the whole of Southsea Common, the seafront to South Parade Pier and the residential area to the north as well as the Old City area to the Cathedral and Portsmouth Point (Spice Island).
The event is using SI timing (SIAC enabled). Standard SI dibbers will be available for hire.
High viz tops are compulsory.
A good quality headtorch is essential and a backup recommended.
26 controls, points values are 50, 30, 20, and 10 .
Penalties: minus 10 points for every minute or part minute over the hour.
Bonus: 5 points for every complete minute under the hour having visited all the controls.
