Ocknell Event final details available & call for helpers

I have attached the final details for our Level D event at Ocknell on Saturday 26th Feb to the event page. http://www.southampton-orienteers.org.uk/event/2012/02/25/level-d-new-forest-event

As you will see the start block for this event is 11:00 to 14:00 in order to attract people travelling to the British Night Champs later that day. Given this extended start block I will need a few more helpers than normal at a Saturday event.

I need a few people to park cars properly, a couple to man the start and as many people as possible to help collect the controls before it gets dark (courses close 15:00).

Also, for the first time, we want to use the new club computers to have fully electronic entry/results at a level D event. There will be opportunities for people to get to know the new systems for registration and download.

Also, we are hosting SCOA junior squad training at this event so our club coaches will be busy. I would like to have a few experienced people around to help get any novices who need help started.

With 7 courses to choose from there's something for everyone at Ocknell so please come along and if you can help in any way drop me an email and let me know if you want to run early or late or if you have any preference as to what job you would like to do.

Thanks,

Simon Bevan
