SOC Coaching Activity, Hincheslea Sat 25th October
Ten SOC members took part in the latests SOC Coaching at Hincheslea.
On offer were courses for novices through to experienced orienteers. A Relocation loop for pairs to practice this skill which we need all to frequently, but often fail to execute well. When the headless chicken syndrome kicks in.
Compass work also featured along with exploring more general techniques used to try and follow the red line between controls.
Looking at what worked along with less successful strategies gave some food for thought and something we can cover again next time.
SOC Coaching Activities are free to club members and are a great way to improve your skills and to meet up with other club members.
