The South Central Orienteering Association is the umbrella organisation which co-ordinates the activities of the orienteering clubs in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Key tasks include:-
- Co-ordinating fixtures between clubs and adjoining regions

Staging the larger national championship events which generally involve most if not all clubs in the Region due to their size and complexity

Training of coaches and event officials
The attached Bulletin will provide further information about SCOA’s activities. In particular, could I draw your attention for the need of more controllers in our Region; if you would like further information, do let me know and the election of our own Di Smith as the new chair.
