BBC South to cover the CATI at IVCP

Exciting news! BBC South will be at our Come and Try It (CATI) event at Itchen Valley Country Park next Saturday, 19th January. We are putting on the event as part of the IVCP launch of the new permanent courses. The BBC are keen to cover two aspects, how people can get started with the sport and what it can lead to - the competitive aspect of orienteering that we all love. Along with the CATI (based on the new permanent courses) we'll be putting on a short head-to-head sprint for club members. Please let me know if you'd like to take part: peter.davis [at] ymail.com (peter[dot]davis[at]ymail[dot]com).

We are currently advertising the event on Facebook. If you are a Facebook user it would be great if you could go to the event page and say that you are going - it makes the event more attractive to newcomers if it shows a good few people are attending.
