There will be a training event for SOC members on Saturday 27th September - a chance to prepare for the busy new Winter 25-26 O season. This activity is open to all SOC members, whether beginners or advanced orienteers.
We will be looking at the skills of Plan, Picture, Direction; this time, including some exercises on visualisation. However, if there are any particular things that you wish to discuss with the coaches, do let us know.
Location: Roundhills campsite off the B3055 out of Brockenhurst. Please enter the campsite approach road and park on a track off to the left, where you will see the coaches’ cars parked at w3w: moguls.atlas.life
Time: Please arrive in time for a 10.30 start. We will aim to have all controls collected by 12.30. If you would like to help with control collection, please let us know.
Equipment: Please bring all your usual orienteering equipment, some water, and a snack. We will provide training courses and maps.
To sign up: Places are limited, so please sign up by Wednesday, 24th September at the latest. Priority will go to SOC members.
