Good luck to SOC member Tamsin Moran representing GB in the Junior World Orienteering Championships taking part in the Czech Republic. Follow the junior team on Facebook: GB JWOC Team
Orienteering for your country must be nerve racking at the best of times, but when you have television cameras beaming pictures back to a big screen in the assembly area, being watched by lots of spectators eyeing yourg every move between a series of controls and having to wear a gps transmitter so the crowd can observe your progress, well that is pressure. The excitement of the crowd has been enhanced by a top Swedish commentator who certainly knows his stuff. The British team are doing very well indeed to cope with this new challenge. The middle distance final was shown on Czech TV tonight and Saturday's relay is to be broadcast live!
