This is a fun / training event to advertise our new Permanent Orienteering Courses at QECP. There will be a mass start at 11.00. Please allow 10 minutes to walk to the start. The route passes the Visitor's Centre with toilets.

The score event will have 24 controls with differing value. There will be no control descriptions or kites. The controls will be attached to the Permanent Orienteering course posts. There is a 45 minute time limit with 10 points lost per minute or part there of.

Terrain

Undulating mixed woodland with good path network.

Facilities

Toilets are available in the Visitors Centre. The cafe which serves tea, coffee, great cakes and meals will also be open.

Parking

We will be using the parking field on the Northbound side of the A3. Follow Brown Country Park signs to exit the A3, and then follow the O signs into the car park. If travelling from the North leave the southbound A3 at the Country park, then drive past the entrance to the Country park, follow the road under the dual carriageway and then enter the parking field. If you want to stay in the country park after the event please move your car into the public car park as we will be locking the gate.
