Firstly, thank you all for coming along to our Local (level D) event at Wilverley today. The rain held off and we had cool perfect running conditions. Wilverley can be surprisingly challenging with the contour detail and mixture of vegetation. I hope you all enjoyed Simon's courses that made great use of these features to provide some interesting route choices while staying inside the plantation away from the chill wind.
A great big thank you to all of the SOC team of helpers who ran the event without a hitch, making my role simple on the day. I was able to interact with the participants while the event ran smoothly around me. Setting up went well and we were able to let participant start earlier than the 10:30 start time. Control collection and packing up all went swiftly and efficiently and we were packed and gone before 15:00.
